Why do I see charges or deductions on my account after making a deposit?
In some cases, after making a card deposit, your bank may show holds or additional transactions on your account. These charges are not made by Paf and we have no control over them.
What types of transactions might you see?
🔒 Fund hold
Your bank temporarily reserves an amount. If the charge is not confirmed, it is usually released within a maximum of 5 days.
⏳ Pending charge
Sometimes the bank does not process the charge immediately and completes it later. It may appear as a duplicate transaction, but it adjusts automatically.
How to tell if it's a hold or a real charge?
Open your banking app and check the transaction description:
- If you see "-P" at the end → it is a temporary hold, not yet charged
- If there is no such mark → the charge has been processed and charged
If you don't see any transaction in your statement, the deposit has not yet been processed by your bank.
