Payment method verification

🛡️ Why do I have to verify my payment method?

This verification is not an internal decision by PAF — it is a measure we are adapting to due to a recent regulatory change (Royal Decree 813/2026, on the prevention of money laundering), which requires operators to confirm that the holder of the payment method used matches the holder of the gaming account.

âś… How do I verify my payment method?

If you use a card:

1. When depositing, select your card as the payment method.
2. Confirm a €0 transaction with your bank (this retrieves the necessary security data).
3. Return to the platform and upload a document confirming that the card is in your name.

If you use Bizum:

1. When depositing, select Bizum.
2. Confirm a €1 transaction with your bank (this amount is automatically refunded to you).
3. Return to the platform and upload a document confirming that the Bizum account is in your name.

đź“„ What documents can I send?

đź’ł For card (any of the following):

• Photo of the physical card (CVC covered, showing the first 6 and last 4 digits and your name)
• Detail of the verification transaction
• Card contract (from the last 6 months)
• Card statement (from the last 6 months)

📱 For Bizum:

• Transaction detail showing the amount, date, and your name as the holder

The document must show your full name, matching the holder of your gaming account.

đź’ˇ Recommendation: if your bank allows you to download the document in PDF format, we recommend sending it that way instead of a screenshot, as it speeds up verification.

Do I have to verify my payment method every time I deposit?
No. Verification is only necessary once, the first time you use that payment method. Once verified, you’ll be able to continue depositing normally without repeating the process.

Why was I charged/deducted €1 with Bizum?
The €1 amount requested when verifying your Bizum is solely to confirm your payment method details — it is not an actual charge, and it is automatically refunded to you.

Is there a payment method that’s quicker to use?
E-wallets (PayPal, Skrill, and Paysafecard) for deposits and withdrawals, and bank accounts via transfer for withdrawals, have an automated verification process that considerably speeds things up. If you’re looking for a smoother experience, we recommend using one of these methods.
